What is the difference between the NURTURE Community and Nurtured Moms Group?

The NURTURE Community is a free membership that brings monthly inspirations from our Postpartum Education and Support Specialists to your inbox.  The content is driven by the NURTURE programming and will give you a helpful and happy note to look for each month in the first year post-birth.  While most resources provide you with information regarding your baby, the NURTURE Community serves to expand your self-understanding and focuses on how to keep your brain and body healthy after baby arrives. You are also invited to join us for a monthly community coffee hour and will receive exclusive discounts and other little perks along the way. 

 

The Nurtured Moms Group is a reoccurring 6-week small group led by our Postpartum Education and Support Specialists.  Together we will build a firm foundation for what motherhood means to you. Each week we will unpack the pillars of NURTURE using themes to guide us from week to week. Each 60-minute session will include a guided mindfulness practice and group discussions with opportunity for sharing and listening, along with practical support with daily newborn care to foster healthy attachment. This group is designed for moms up tp 9 months postpartum.

 

Who is this for?
All moms are welcome...this doesn’t have to be your first kiddo to enjoy the benefits of a supportive motherhood community. Adoptive and foster parents of newborns are just as susceptible to mind and body changes that come with the transitional period. 

What is the cost?

Private pay for Nurtured Moms Group is $325, you can choose to pay in full or set up a payment plan

Weekly group sessions can be billed through your insurance. Flourish is an in-network provider for Medica, Mayo Medica, United Health, Preferred One, Optum, Health Partners, Tri-Care, MA Medicaid, BCBS, Atena, Cigna, and U-Care. If you would like to use your insurance Flourish will need a current diagnostic assessment from your provider or you can schedule an intake session with one of our therapists.

Where are we meeting?

Currently, we are meeting virtually via Zoom until we can all enjoy the company of each other again.

Can I bring my baby?

Yes​! Absolutely, yes! Babies in arms or a carrier are always welcome to join us. We will have opportunities to learn skills such as infant massage, babywearing, soothing and feeding techniques, so bringing baby will be beneficial! If you have older children we ask that you find appropriate childcare so that you can give yourself the attention you deserve.

Can I cancel my registration? 

There are no refunds for cancelled or missed sessions. A credit card on file is required to participate in this group although you may transfer your registration to a future offering of Nurtured Moms if available.

I am an employer, can I bring your program to the moms at my organization?
Yes! Please email brittany@flourish-counseling.com to schedule a discovery call and we can put together a custom proposal to serve the moms you love.
