Sarah is a licensed professional clinical counselor licensed by the MN Board of Behavioral Health. She received her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in 2014. Sarah enjoys working with individuals and couples in the areas of depression, anxiety, relationships, and life transitions. She believes in using trust and empathy, combined with tangible life strategies, to help clients find contentment and peace. Sarah’s areas of expertise include trauma-informed care as well as helping others build healthy relationships with themselves and others.
Sarah is a super lovely human being who is slowly being driven a little bit-crazy by her two small children. She knows way too much about Harry Potter and loves having the house to herself.

Jill Wagner, MA, LICSW

Jill is a licensed clinical social worker licensed by the MN Board of Social Work and is an approved supervisor by her MN Board of Social Work. She received her master’s degree in social work from Saint Cloud State University in 2015. She works with adults in all stages and changes in life, particularly those struggling with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and adjustment. Jill is dedicated to the philosophy of ‘meeting a client where they are at’, meaning getting to know each individual’s personality, needs, and goals in order to assist each person in working towards the life they want to lead. Jill is committed to providing evidenced-based therapeutic support in a respectful and individualized manner that considers the various aspects of well-being including the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and relational selves.
Fun facts about Jill: She is an avid dog lover, enjoys hiking, lives for caramel lattes, likes to uplift and empower women, gobbles up any and all books, and travels to the North Shore at least once a year.

Irene Kruger, MA, LPCC
yoga director, professional counselor
Irene is a licensed professional clinical counselor licensed by the MN Board of Behavioral Health. She received her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from St. Thomas University in May of 2015. She is a 200-hour trained yoga instructor and has also been certified in trauma-informed yoga.
She believes in transparency to build trust and in taking a client centered approach to treatment; Irene works alongside her clients to build a plan for healing that best serves the client, while remaining evidence-based and within the scope of her practice.
Irene enjoys being outdoors, loves every season equally, and can be found sitting on her stoop in the spring, summer, and fall with a cup of coffee and a good book. Winters are for big blankets and watching the snow fall. Family, friends, and her dogs (not always in that order) are her main priorities. She also is an avid Yogi and CrossFitter.

Bethany McNamara, MA, LICSW

Bethany is a licensed clinical social worker licensed by the MN Board of Social Work. She received her master’s degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2013. Bethany has extensive experience working with individuals experiencing grief and loss, depression, anxiety, and difficulty adjusting to life changes. She has a particular interest in working with women experiencing challenges across the entire reproductive life story. In therapy, Bethany utilizes evidence-based and effective therapy methods to identify and treat the specific needs of individuals. She practices with compassion and believes that each individual is unique and is deserving of a safe space to be supported in reaching their personal goals.
A native of Minnesota, Bethany enjoys spending time with her husband and their two year-old daughter while exploring the outdoors and soaking in the sun. Bethany is in a constant state of self-exploration, discovery, and reflection including mind, body, and soul. She is usually found laughing with friends while enjoying a cold-pressed coffee or enjoying “arm-day” at the gym. Most importantly, Bethany is a devoted Justin Timberlake Superfan.

Juanita Bateman, MA Candidate
Practicum Intern
Juanita is completing her practicum in counseling and psychological services at Saint Mary's University. With clinical supervision, she is fulfilling requirements for professional clinical counseling licensure. She is especially interested in working with individuals in the perinatal period. Her gentle, yet practical approach is inspired by her experiences as a childbirth educator, lactation counselor, and doula.
In her practice she incorporates person-centered and cognitive behavioral approaches to foster acceptance and facilitate change. She offers compassion, understanding and a safe space to heal. Juanita believes that individual can develop insight, tools, and the wisdom within to navigate life's experiences.
